Guidelines for Quote Requests

1. Required Contact Information

When requesting a quote, please include:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Company Name (optional)
  • Phone Number (optional but helpful)

We use this information exclusively for communication regarding your request. You will not be added to any mailing lists.

2. Material Selection

Our quote form includes a material picker. Supported materials include:

  • Aluminum: 5052, 6061, 7075
  • Stainless Steel: 304, 316
  • Carbon Steel: 1045, 4140, 4340, 1215
  • Titanium: TC4
  • Brass: C360, H59
  • Copper
  • Other: If you want a different material such as plastic please contact us

Please specify which version of the material you want outherwise they will defult to the following: Aluminum: 6061 Steel: 1045 Stainless Steel: 304 Brass: H59

Selecting the correct material helps us estimate:

  • Tooling requirements
  • Stock availability
  • Lead time

If you're unsure which material is best, choose “Other” and describe your needs — we’ll help you pick the appropriate option.

3. Quantity Requirements

Please enter how many parts you need.
The form includes a safety confirmation if the quantity is unusually high:

  • Quantities over 50 require clicking Submit a second time
    (This prevents accidental zeroes or typos.)

This service is more designed for short production runs and prototyping but large orders can be accomidated

larger orders may qualify for tiered pricing.

4. Project Description (Required)

A good project description covers:

  • Dimensions or tolerances: defult is to ISO 2768 but can be increaced to 0.10mm or 0.05mm with a technical Drawing

  • Surface finish: defult is 3.2Ra but can be increaced to 1.6Ra with a technical Drawing

  • Threads or tapped holes : technical drawing will be required for this

  • Special heat treatment or coating such as annodising or bead blasting, please note if a surface treartment is not wanted there will be blemishes on the surface from machining.

  • Assembly notes for test assembaling componantas when required

  • Deadlines or target delivery date: Projects can be rushed onto a shorter deadline if required but at an increaced fee

The more detail you provide, the more accurate your quote.

5. Blueprint & Technical Drawing Requirements

You may upload up to 3 files, with a maximum size of 10 MB each.

✅ Allowed File Types

Your form accepts:

  • PDF
  • STEP / STP
  • JPG / JPEG
  • PNG

These match what our machining and CAD software supports.

❌ Unsupported Files

Formats like:

  • .zip
  • .exe
  • .dxf
  • .igs
  • .sldprt

…will be rejected automatically.

6. CAPTCHA Verification

To protect our system from bots and spam, the quote request form uses:

Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA

You will need to complete the CAPTCHA before submitting.

If:

  • the CAPTCHA expires
  • the token is invalid
  • or verification fails

…the form will ask you to retry, if this does not work please email directrly

7. What Happens After Submission?

After clicking submit, here is the process:

  1. Your information is validated in the browser.
  2. Your request is sent to our backend through a secure API.
  3. Files undergo VirusTotal scanning.
  4. A structured email with your details + attachments is generated.
  5. Our team receives everything and begins preparing your quote.
  6. You will receive a response within 2 days monday-friday 9am-5pm.

You will also see a confirmation message on the website once your request is submitted.
